I just acknowledged this TV yesterday and all I blame relate and so far is WOW!!!!

Essential is in our bedroom and looks great ( picture and aesthetics intuitive ). The iPod dock is also very nice. The sound is excellent for a small (? ) TV.

Westinghouse TV died at 21 months – K. OLEARY –
I bought a Westinghouse SK-19H210S in February ‘08. It was an acceptable, modest cost HDTV until it suddenly stopped powering on 21 months after purchase (and very light use during those months). I can’t speak with certainty about other models from Westinghouse, but heed my experience!

New it was 0 plus tax. Now it is worthless.

Though well out of its one-year warranty, I thought it worth asking if the company would address the problem (since who would ever pay a nickel for a TV that would die in less than two years). A Westinghouse customer service supervisor said they would only stand by their one-year warranty.

I won’t buy a Westinghouse TV again, and you shouldn’t buy one in the first place. A tip: Many Visa and MasterCard bank issuers include a one-year warranty extension on products with warranties of three years or less. If your bank offers this benefit, save your itemized original receipt, your card statement, and your warranty terms so that you can make a claim through Visa or MasterCard.

The picture contrast/brightness is so poor that you must be exactly in the front and center position to get a reasonable picture. The specs say the viewing angle is 160 deg. Horiz and 150 deg vert. This is a total misrepresentation. I would estimate less than 30 deg in both directions. We put it in the bedroom so the viewing would always be from the same point.

Don’t buy it – Roger Koster –
When it comes to a HD television, you get what you paid for. The price is low on this TV but so is the picture quality. If you are viewing the picture from squarely in front of the screen you get a normal picture. But if you are at even a slight angle, either from the side or below, the color and the picture is distorted. However,I do think the sound quality is fine. If I had it to do over wish I would of paid a little more for a different brand.

Lock up, Works good, Lock up – Olias4 –
Purchased a refurbished unit had a number of problems. Returned said unit. Replacement arrived, works good for the most part but locks up at least once a day. I installed a remote light off/on switch to reboot. Also, once and a while I can here the DVD player running when the unit is off. I have to turn on the set and turn it off again to stop the DVD. Not worth the price.

Panasonic TC – L26X1 LCD
Very good 26 ” LCD television and is just the hold water size in our guest bedroom….. I lap up that Panasonic beats them all hands down…. we replaced our very elderly CRT TV with this dissimilar flashing weight LCD and live does not catching up as much space as the senescent unit did…….. in my own feeling, this Panasonic LCD has the best picture and sound over the other brands, and I did a lot of comparing before buying…..

I fully conforming the timepiece facet exceptionally…… the set – up sustenance and like are very user genial. The remote is not lit… has no internal glassy… but I don ‘ t expect detail of them hold an internal vivid….. not a complaint, but the remote has besides stuff on true than I will notably benefit…. I hold owned my 42 ” Plasma Panasonic for over 2 senility instantly and I am very satisfied with material over…. The plasma has a little bit of a prominent picture, colors are wider rich, than a LCD has but a plasma besides cost another money terribly…. and a plasma weighs supplementary and uses more efficacy than a LCD TV… This TV sole comes in glossy sooty, the frame and base, which looks very nice but shows every speck of dust. I trim called Panasonic and complained about that….. for not offering an alternate color twin silver or gray….
