I was very pleased to receive this TV / DVD, as was one of the few to meet my needs in terms of space, TV / DVD combo and the price. E 'arrived in good shape, but because the chassis is plastic, there were two big impressions when packing Styrofoam brackets (to keep it firmly in the box) dented the frame. However, after spending some time (2 hours) to try to understand all the directions to assemble a few parts, I asked the company to DiscCover there was a step missing – the process of scanning the channels before they can receive the signal. The Tech was helpful and I walk through the steps. (I think it would be useful to have a piece of simple steps that take you right through the whole process of outlet in use.) I was quite pleased with the clarity and brightness of the TV picture and sound quality was very good. However, when I tried to play DVDs – I tried 4 – I could not DVD player (attached) to work. He said: "Read", but never showed the picture instead saying "No Disc" when it was clear that he had said he had read the data. I struggled to get the disc – which, after 7 or 8 tries on "Open" (hidden in the branches) was finally expelled. It would be useful to use the word "EJECT" rather than "open / closed" because there is no indication as to what these words refer to reality. I was very disappointed that the DVD component does not work because it meant referring the entire drive. Maybe I just got a lemon. I called the company Coby for second time in three days and they told me to go I will do as I purchased from Amazon. Very disappointing, but maybe I'll try to get another – it is definitely worth the price of $ 500 +, but can be worth $ 350. Somebody out there has a good experience with this model?
